Karen Green's Bough Down arrived yesterday [previously]. It's had some great reviews, In Brief: Memoir and Untied, Undone, both of which do greater justice to the publication than I am capable of doing.
I'd skimmed the reviews, and honestly didn't know what to expect... didn't want to EXPECT anything. But here's the truth: Karen Green can write - and the associated artworks are deeply moving. I'm loving the intricacy of the art and the text. As I posted on twitter earlier today, it's intensely personal and shimmeringly beautiful. I'm glad I bought it.
