Ulysses Read at Infinite Zombies
Monday, 12 July 2010
They're at it again, inspired by Infinite Summer, and the Moby Dick read just finished, the team at Infinite Zombies are the focal point for a read of Ulysses, this time led by Judd Staley.

Discussion about the first three episodes begins tomorrow now, so if you're not yet on board, it's only about 50-odd pages of reading to get up to speed.

I'm in and up to speed so far.

I've tried reading Ulysses numerous times and for whatever reason I've put it down and not picked it up again. So this time a few things are working in my favour: a) Daryl's posts over at Infinite Zombies are awesome and will keep me on track, b) Judd Staley, who I had the pleasure of meeting at the NY DFW conference last year, is already doing a fine job with prep material, and c) my sister-in-law, Katy, is in on the read too (nothing like a bit of familial pressure to keep up to speed).

(So Katy, are you up to date? Have you found a replacement for the copy you left in Melbourne last week?)

The best bit? It's top stuff so far.
