AND BUT ALSO, a tribute to DFW involving readings, ruminations, drink
(and no cover charge) planned in conjunction with the Vancouver
International Writers Festival. It will be held on Friday, October 24,
2008 at the Granville Island Hotel Dockside Lounge from 7 PM onwards.

Authors will read favorite passages from DFW's books. Readers include
Lee Henderson, Zsuzsi Gartner, Deborah Campbell, Michael Turner, Meg
Wolitzer, and other local and festival authors. In addition there will
be an opportunity for the audience to read from favorite DFW passages
or simply raise a glass with the writing community to commemorate his
work and influence.
