Website DowntimeAt some stage during this week there will be some downtime as my webhost moves all the content to a newer and faster server. I've been warned there may be some data loss, which might mean some of the newer members lose their details. I'm backing things up at this end, and until we are up on the new server locking down new memberships. If all goes to plan all you'll notice is that the site becomes unavailable for a few hours/days. The web address and everything else should stay the same.
New Infinite Jest Review: Powell's BooksAn interesting review of Infinite Jest by Stephen Burn (author of Infinite Jest : A reader's guide) that considers some of the impact and big picture issues the novel has had. Read it over at Powell's Books.
New Addition: Commenting SystemI've finally added a commenting system to the fantods. You'll need to register first, and then log in (bottom menu on the left) to add your comments. I've added the ability to comment on some of the more recent news items. If you follow the 'read more...' link it should be ready to go. I know some of you wanted to post about 'Good People' , so that might be a nice place to start.
Because I Can!Below is a link to a picture of my son, Thomas, who was born yesterday on the 1st of Feb 2007. Thanks for letting me indulge! (Also, soon you'll be able to register and comment on all new posts!)
